Exciting news in the Drupal world – Gartner, Inc., the leading research and advisory firm, recently identified the Drupal CMS as a “Visionary” in their yearly “Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace.” Here is an image of what that quadrant looks like:
Last year, Drupal appeared as a “Niche player,” but the continued commitment to open source in the Drupal community, combined with the efforts of Acquia, has earned Drupal a spot in the Visionaries square, right next to Internet superpower Google. It is incredibly exciting to be involved with Drupal as it grows into a powerful force on the Web.
